I’ll Be Mother is focused on delivering and celebrating all those things that get better with time. The enjoyment of family, friends, food and the time spent in common unity. Whether around the table or out of doors. Refining and defining our sense of what enriches the experience we have with each other. Growing personal stories and relationships.
Each of our three homes in the I’ll be Mother family have something slightly different to offer; what doesn’t change is our commitment to helping bring you love, care and comfort.
The Beacon
Tucked away down Tea Garden Lane sits The Beacon, a picturesque, extraordinarily refurbished country house with stunning views across Happy Valley and beautiful gardens. It truly is a picture postcard of whimsical, rustic romance, bursting with character and charm.

Alongside SGS Designs, The Beacon has designed and beautifully renovated 6 luxuriously elegant and unique bedrooms, with a 7th room- The Summer House, perching just below the house on the edge of Happy Valley, providing the most undeniably stunning views across the Kent Countryside.
Kingdom
In the heart of Kingdom sits a 9,500 ft wooden and glass, uniquely structured Clubhouse which features stunning 360-degree views across the Kent countryside. Born from destruction, this unique and enchanting 13-acre woodland is dreamy and earthy, yet utterly romantic- not at all what it once was…
The Swan
The Swan Wine Kitchen at Tenterden is a 2AA Rosette, 80-cover family-friendly restaurant with a privately roomed Chef’s Table and terrace dining. We serve award-winning sparkling and still wines from Chapel Down, holding a variety of wine tastings and guided tours of the beautiful vineyard and winery which surrounds our restaurant for you to enjoy. Come and experience the finest locally and regionally-sourced produce, cooked to perfection, in an elegant yet relaxed environment.

We are totally blown away with how amazing the day was from start to finish….Our vision of an intimate, cosy, winter wedding totally came to life but was even better than we could have imagined. Our gift cards come in incremental values of £25, from £50 up to £500. Alternatively, give the gift of relaxation with our luxury dine and stay experiences. Our reception team will process your gift card and send a unique reference number to your chosen email address. Or choose to post it through Royal Mail and receive one of our I'll Be Mother Gift Cards.
They are redeemable at any I’ll Be Mother venue; The Beacon, The Swan, or Kingdom, so whether they love fine dining, hearty roasts or healthy brunch, we have something on offer for everyone.
All gift cards have a 12 month validity period from the date of purchase and are redeemable on accommodation and/or food/drink.
